Enjoy with your children preparing some healthy and delicious Pita Pizza. Children love to explore in the kitchen and this experience gives them so much of learning. These easy and quick personal pizzas are so fun for children to make and are a great opportunity for practicing skills.

TIPS FOR YOU TO CONSIDER:
You can prepare in advance all ingredients measured out and ask your children to add them one by one for you.
Explain to your children that we need to take turns, and that everyone will have the opportunity to participate in adding ingredients.
Invite your children to participate adding all ingredients.
4 large pita bread (Quantity of pita bread depends on the number of people eating)
1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
1/2 cup corn (canned)
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano (dried)
1/2 teaspoon thyme (dried)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 392 °F / 200 °C and prepare the pizza sheet.
Invite your children to spread in each pita bread 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce.
Add the shredded cheese on the pita bread.
Prepare toppings to add to the pita bread. (Your child can cut some veggies with a wavy chopper or nylon knife for advanced children)
Invite your children to add any desired topping: zucchini, corn, green bell pepper and mushroom.
Your child can add a pinch of salt, oregano and thyme if desired.
Place the pita dread already prepared in the preheated oven and wait until the cheese is melted and veggies cooked.
Take the pita pizza and cut it in slices.
Let cool a little bit, serve and enjoy with your children.
