Cornbread is one of our favorite recipes. Your children will love the delicious flavor of it and will have so much fun during its preparation.

TIPS FOR YOU TO CONSIDER:
You can prepare in advance all ingredients measured out and ask your children to add them one by one for you.
Explain to your children that we need to take turns, and that everyone will have the opportunity to participate in adding ingredients.
Invite your children to participate adding all ingredients.
1 ½ cups milk (any kind is ok)
1 ½ tablespoons white vinegar
1 cup cornmeal
1 corn (threshed)
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
Preheat the oven to 425 °F / 218 °C and prepare an oiled square pan (9 inches or 22 cm).
Invite your children to combine milk and vinegar in a medium bowl, and let stand.
Invite your children to mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Your children can pour the milk mixture into the large bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until batter is blended.
Invite your child to add the threshed corn and continue stirring.
Spread batter into prepared oiled square pan.
Bake for 25 min or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 min before removing from pan.
Let it cool completely, serve and enjoy with your children.
