This healthy banana bread recipe will be loved by your little ones. Banana is one of children's favorite fruits. They are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, especially potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C. Give to your children a little treat and the opportunity of making their own banana bread.

TIPS FOR YOU TO CONSIDER:
You can prepare in advance all ingredients measured out and ask your children to add them one by one for you.
Explain to your children that we need to take turns, and that everyone will have the opportunity to participate in adding ingredients.
Invite your children to peel the bananas and mash them.
1 ¾ cup flour whole wheat
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3-4 bananas (the riper, the better)
1/4 cup honey
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or dried fruit.
Preheat the oven to 350 °F / 180 °C and prepare a greased standard-sized loaf pan. (You can also bake this healthy banana bread in a muffin tin at the same temperature for 22 minutes.)
Invite your children to combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.
Melt butter and invite your child to add honey, plain yogurt, eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla. (Let the mixture to cool down a little bit before adding the eggs)
Invite your children to add flour mixture and beat until blended.
Add chopped walnuts or chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or dried fruit.
Pour into loaf pan or muffin tin.
Bake for 50 to 60 min or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 min before removing from loaf pan
Let it cool completely, serve and enjoy with your children.
